Mission of Shanky Studio is to raise awareness about visual fine arts, which can help kids and youngsters to channelize their energy in a creative and constructive way. Activities at Shanky Studio under CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives are -

  • Conducted over 180 free art and craft classes, which were attended by over 225 participants, ages ranging from 4 to 75 years.

  • Provided free art supplies to under-privileged students.

  • Given financial assistance to poor, needy and deserving students for their school fees and books.

जनवरी 2012 से महाजन भवन आर्टिस्ट सुरेन्द्र शंकर के साथ मिलकर आर्ट की नि:शुल्क क्लासें चलाता आ रहा है। इस दौरान, महाजन भवन ने लगभग 180 फ्री आर्ट एवं क्राफ्ट की क्लासें चलाईं जिसमें 4 से लेकर 75 साल के 225 से भी अधिक प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया। इन विद्यार्थियों को फ़ाइन आर्ट्स की आधारभूत तकनीकें, आधुनिक आर्ट्स तकनीकें व सृजनात्मक कौशल प्रशिक्षित किए गए। इन क्लासों का मुख्य ध्येय लोगों की कला के प्रति जागरूकता जगाना और उनकी ऊर्जा को एक सकारात्मक दिशा देना है। आर्ट्स के कुछ चित्रों को नमूने के तौर पर www.shankeronline.com/workshop.html पर भी पोस्ट किया गया है।


जनवरी 2016 को लगभग 14 प्रतिभागियों ने आर्ट प्रदर्शनी 'क्रिएटिव कर्मा' में भाग लेकर अपने 65 चित्रों को प्रदर्शित भी किया था। इस प्रदर्शनी को काफ़ी अच्छी प्रतिक्रिया मिली व दो दिनों की अवधि में 350 लोगों ने इसे देखा और सराहा। यह ख़बर स्थानीय समाचार-पत्रों में भी छपी। इस चित्र-प्रदर्शनी का उदघाटन प्रख्यात कथक नृत्यांगना श्रीमती नंदिता पुरी के द्वारा हुआ।


महाजन भवन में कला सीखने वाले ज़रूरतमंद बच्चों को आवश्यक कला-सामग्री व स्टेशनरी का प्रबंध करने के लिए हम 'चण्डीगढ़ बिज़िनेस सिस्टम' (सी बी एस), सेक्टर 27, चंडीगढ़ के आभारी हैं।

Creative Karma Art Exhibition by Shanky Studio was conducted in association with Artfile and Nanhi Jaan, with the following objectives -


Fourteen students from Shanky Studio, ages ranging from 9 to 18 years, participated in the Art Exhibition and displayed 65 artworks. Response to the exhibition was overwhelming and over 350 people visited in 2 days. Some of the photographs have been posted at Facebook page of Mr. Surinder Shanker Anand. The art exhibition was inaugurated by Mrs. Nandita Puri, renowned Kathak dancer. Participants were Aaryaman Anand, Aditi Mohindra, Anaadya Aggarwal, Chetan, Ishita Anand, Bhavika, Harjeet Kaur, Harkanwal Singh, Jamal, Kirandeep Kaur, Sajal Dweep Singh Sodhi, Shruti Thankur, Shubhika Tandon and Simrandeep Kaur. Earnings from the event were passed on to the kids suffering from Cancer and under-privileged students of Shanky Studio who participated in this exhibition.



21 and 22 January 2017, Chandigarh, India

Creative Karma Art Exhibition 2017 was organized by Shanky Studio, which was held at Beant Singh Memorial Libraty, Sector 42, Chandigarh, India, on 21 and 22 January 2017. Objective of this exhibition was to provide effective platform and give exposure to budding artists, at no-profit-no-loss basis.

Twenty Seven Artists ages ranging from 8 to 52 years, from Tricity, Punjab, Haryana Jammu and Nanital participated in the Art Exhibition and displayed over 175 artworks. Participants were Aaryaman Anand, Aditi Mohindra, Anaadya Aggarwal, Bhavika, Harjeet Kaur, Ishita Anand, Guntas, Harkanwal Singh, Kanika Sud, Karan, Kirandeep Kaur, Kirti Grover, Kumud Goel, Lakhbir Kaur, Rudraksh, Radheykesh, Sajal Dweep Singh Sodhi, Shama, Shruti Thankur, Shubhika Tandon, Simrandeep Kaur, Sonika, Ssonam, Surinder Shanker Anand, Dr Vandana, Varun Tandon and Winky Kaur.

Response to the exhibition was overwhelming and over 750+ art lovers visited the art exhibition just in 2 days!

The art exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Madan Lal, Vice Chairman of Lalit Kala Academy. Shri Parveen Khurana, State Librarian, presided over the inauguration ceremony. Chief Guest was kind enough to review the exhibits and gave invaluable technical inputs to the participants.

Renouned Collage Artist, Shri Mohinder Tuli Sir, also visited the Art Exhibition and interacted with individual artists.

Mrs. Anu Kumar, Principal of Stepping Stones Senior Secondary school, visited the exhibition and appreciated the artwork of budding artists.

Famous cyclist, Dr. Rakesh Mohindra, the head librarian of the Law Faculty, who did 4,500 km cycling from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, under Swach Bharat Abhiyan, also visited this event.
