From the last 5 years, Shanky Studio has been organizing the Creative Karma Visual Art Exhibition, which is a cost-effective platform for budding and amateur artists, at no-profit no-loss basis. Mission of Shanky Studio is to raise awareness about visual arts, which helps the participants to channelize their energy in a constructive way and enhance aesthetic experience of the audience.
As per Surinder Shanker Anand (owner of Shanky Studio), “Art is more of a happening, a meditation, where the subject and the object merge into each other and transcend the concept of time, space, and unit. It is amazing that this phenomenon takes place when the entity ‘I’ is not present at all. Not only does the artist enjoy this creative process, but also their manifestation can be enjoyed by others.”
This year, Creative Karma Visual Art Exhibition will be held at Punjab Kala Bhavan, Sector 16, Chandigarh, on the 14th and the 15th, December 2019, from 11 am to 7 pm, on both days. Forty-seven artists, with ages ranging from 18 to 65 years, from a wide range of professions such as businessperson, doctors, engineer, students, teachers, housewives and special children. The participant artists come from various states such as Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Rajasthan, NCR and Chandigarh; and will exhibit over 300 artworks to the people of Tricity. A footfall of over 1500+ is expected in the exhibition. For audience there is no entry fee.
